Instructions
  1. To begin, place an 8-10" cast iron skillet in the oven and preheat to 450°F/232°C.
  2. Whisk together the milk, flour, eggs, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla.
  3. Once the oven has reached 450°F remove the skillet and put the butter in it, turning it to coat the bottom and sides
  4. Slowly pour batter into hot pan; bake for 18 minutes; reduce heat to 350°F and bake another 3-5 minutes, until pancake is well-browned; remove from oven and sieve confectioners' sugar over the top.
